Digital art changes and expands our ideas and interpretations of space and time and consequently change the axes through which we construct and interpret history. Digital tools are among the instruments that allow us to question narratives, add unheard voices to our collective memory and expand audiovisual patterns of storytelling. In this workshop, we will explore several examples of digital art interventions in history-telling, discuss their approaches, techniques and effects, and learn about the possibilities of digital art as an interfering force in memory culture. Up to 30 people can participate in this interactive workshop.
Organized by Felix Fuhg and Anna Norpoth (Körber-Stiftung eCommemoration)
